Living in the West Midlands, UK, I’m studying with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to become a Health Coach to empower people to become healthy and happy. I want others to feel how I feel after changing my life around, losing 90lbs, reversing Type 2 Diabetes, reversing high blood pressure and reversing high cholesterol. All my life I’ve been fat, not too unhealthy for most of it but since 2004 I’d been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, was told I had high blood pressure and also had high cholesterol and all this even with being on medication for all of those problems. In September 2012 I came across a movie called “Hungry For Change” and it inspired me to try changing things. I cut out the processed foods, the refined sugars, the baked goods (bread, pastries etc), the dairy and the coffee (I used to be 4-5 times a week bucket o Starbucks kind of guy plus what I drank at work). Within 2 months I’d also cut out all meat and fish products and began feeling the best I’ve ever felt.
Fast forward to now and I’m easily maintaining the new me weight, eating wonderfully amazing fresh whole foods and inspiring others with what I’ve achieved.
